The key to a good cake is good ingredients and each cake I design is made with quality ingredients, organic wherever possible – while supporting local suppliers and makers who share a similar ethos.
Creating flavours distinctive to seasonality calls for absolute freshness --
& showcasing the best of Devon produce is what makes these cakes so delicious.
I use grade A flours, organic eggs, butter & dairy from local farms, unrefined ethically-traded sugars, ethical fairtrade coffee and chocolate (at least 65% cocoa solids, only the good stuff ) + my homemade bourbon vanilla extract or fairtrade madagascar vanilla paste. Buckfast honey, organic fruits & veggies, hedgerows full of foraged treats & edible flowers for decoration (often grown by my own fair hand).
I'm more than happy to cater to a wide variety of dietary requirements - vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and alcohol free. None of my free-from recipes compromise on flavour!
When getting in touch, please mention if you have any food allergies or intolerances and I will gladly present a tasty alternative. Please do be aware that all cakes are made in a kitchen which contain gluten, dairy & wheat and there may be nut traces.
